Sports Day

Hey readers.
Today was Sports Day. I was on the green team. It was fun! (NOT REALLY!) I had to run the 4x400 relay because there was nobody on our team that would run. So I had to run, and finally 3 other girls agreed to join in. Other events I did were the softball throw and the long jump. I probably came in second to last place on both events, but that's okay. In the relay race, I tried hard, but came in last....:(
My teammates were great, but we still came in last. But at least we get five points for participating!
So the results were in at the end of the day. Yellow house came in last place. Red (Louise's team) came in third. And...................GREEN won! Pone the blues! We won the Blue house by ONE point, which seems HUGE now! All in all, it was a hot and competitive day! I guess I had some fun at the end where they announced the winners, which was us! (I know, I have bad sportsmanship)
Here's our chant:
We are the green team green like grass,
We're gonna own you, you'll be last!
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still, go GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(That includes turning off lights when you're not using them and conserving water.)

Long Time No See!!!!

Hey readers! Long time no see! I'm sorry that I haven't blogged for ages, but I was quite busy with school so I didn't have time to blog. Since it's 2011, I'd like to wish you Happy New Year.
Second of all, I have a SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!
.......drumroll please.
I have written a story and I'll share it with you!!!!
Here it is. It's called "A smile from Heaven"

One bright sunny morning, Jung Min-Koo called her best friend Sung Lee-Koo. She planned to go with Sung Lee to the Planatarium, a very new shopping mall in town. Sung Lee had time, so they met at the front lobby of the mall. As Jung Min ran towards the building, she did not realize that a car was coming through. Jung Min never could have known that on this day, it is only the start of a tragic event. The car rushed towards her, and she was rolled over by the automobile. A passerby witnessed this accident, and immediately called the ambulance. Help came 3 minutes later, and Jung Min was later confirmed to having a serious leg injury, so she had to have one of her leg amputated. Jung Min’s mother Yi rushed to the Queen Freda Hospital, and, seeing her daughter in such tragedy, she wept with sadness. Meanwhile, Sung Lee was still waiting for Jung Min, not knowing that her friend went to the hospital. So Sung Lee stayed at the lobby for 1 hour, finally knowing that Jung Min was hurt by a phone call from Yi. The friend took a cab to the hospital and waited with Yi for Jung Min’s amputation surgery to end. After 6 hours, Jung Min was rolled out on a hospital cart from the operation room. Yi and Sung Lee stayed with Jung Min all day and all night long. The next day, Jung Min woke up and stared with fear at the fact that she had one leg amputated. From that day on, Jung Min’s life became a plague of darkness. She had no faith, even though she was a Christian. Now, she did not ever go to church anymore. Just staying at the hospital for 3 weeks made her feel lonely. Yi and Sung Lee came to visit her everyday, but Jung Min kept her mouth shut and refused to play puzzles with Sung Lee, which was their favorite pastime before the accident had
happened. Yi kept on telling Jung Min how nice it is of Sung Lee to still accept her as a friend, even though she is now a disabled person. Jung Min did not say a word, but in her heart, she can feel the deep friendship between them. Jung Min thought, “When Sung Lee is in need, I will help her, since she helped me o through this difficult time.” This thought made Jung Min cheer up, and she started talking to Sung Lee and played puzzles with her again. Sung Lee was teased many times by other people who laughed at her for having a disabled friend, but she didn’t care, because their friendship would not be destroyed by this event. Now, Sung Min went back to church, and she had faith in God again. Her whole family felt glad for her, and they encouraged her with words of faith. Sung Lee visited Jung Min at anytime she could, and brought new puzzles every time she went to Jung Min’s house. Yi read lots of Bible verses to Jung Min, and Jung Min started rebuilding her life once again. There was no sadness in her life, and Yi said one phrase of words that encouraged her the most. It is: “Treasure each day of your life as the one last day you will live.” “O Lord,” Jung Min prayed, “Bless those who are in danger, and rebuild all of their lives. Take away all sadness, and replace that with joy. Let them be peaceful and consider their lives the best day. Help them live their lives to the fullest and help them believe in you. Amen.” Jung Min wished that her wishes will come true, and that her life will continue to rebuild. Jung Min knew that God hears her prayers and will try His best to fulfill her wishes. On a starry night, Jung Min sat on her balcony and prayed, once again wishing for others’ happiness. Then, showing His joy for Jung Min’s faith, God sent a smile for heaven, wishing that Jung Min will continue her faith in him and will continue to ignore her disabilities, and discover her abilities. The smile consists of 3 birds, soaring through the air, like the dove God sent when Jesus was baptized. Jung Min saw the 3 birds and felt glad that God is happy with her choice. She continued to trust in God and made a conviction. Jung Min knew that ever since this day, her life will not just turn back to normal, but also be lived to the fullest. “O Lord, I pray that this day is the best day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Bless all those who are in pain and those who have not met You and Your glory. Turn their lives from darkness to not only brightness, but happiness. May my prayer be a light in the dark for those who are suffering. Amen.” This was Jung Min’s prayer, and God answered, “Jung Min, my faithful servant, may I be glad for your peaceful and caring heart. Follow me, and I will guide you, for the Lord shall reveal His glory to those who have not seen it.” Although Jung Min could not hear God’s exact voice, she could feel God speaking to her through her heart. She loved this feeling, the feeling of purity and one-on-one dialogue with God, the Maker of heaven and earth. As Jung Min continued to go on in her life, Yi felt proud for her daughter to not only speak again, but also help other disabled people to know God. Jung Min had a quote about faith that she always says to other people. “Faith is like a river. Once you start moving towards your destination, a wave comes and it rushes you back onto the coast. You eventually move further from the Savior.” Jung Min also says, “Any one who hears these words shall rush home, kneel by their bedside, and pray for the Lord to take them out of the river and automatically move to their destination. But be careful, for you may be thrown onto the river again, and our Savior may choose not to save you, unless you pray again to Him, asking for forgiveness. If this happens again, pray again, but if there is one time where you part from your destination too far, and your hand cannot reach the Lord’s hand.”
